Katana was built in 2012 by Pacific Mariner at Westport Yachts and spends the 2026–2027 winter season in the British Virgin Islands. She takes eight guests across four cabins and cruises at 18 knots, so the run from Tortola to Anegada is a morning, not a day.

With a draft of 4'11", she reaches the shallower bays and reef anchorages that larger yachts leave alone. The covered aft deck seats all eight for dinner, and the bow sunpad is the best seat on board once the anchor is down.
